For a financially and rules limiting year that forced limited travel we are still racing most every weekend. Winning again last week at the TSDRA series while testing a new clutch combination has us stoked for the upcoming AMA Dragbike race in Martin, MI. While they still have a weight penalty against the 1000’s, four time National champ Kent Stotz will be back in the saddle. His 170 lbs (45lbs more than Frankie) will make the weight break and experience will be the key to winning.
Stotz Racing was invited to the filming of the Pinks-All Out episode in Indianapolis. A special thank you to Del Flores for setting it up. Rain delayed us for a third day but when we did get the chance Frankie went low E.T. at 7.43 for the event. We will let you know when it airs as soon as we find out.
Check out Cycle World’s annual edition mag- SPORT BIKE. We are on the cover again with a six-page article and two fold out pictures. Our sponsors are front and center easy to read and read about. This is the follow up to the race win with Nick Ienatsch. Nick tells of the parts and building of the little red Honda. We will try to get an e-copy for our next race report. SPORT BIKE is to be on newsstands until 8-18-09.
